The El Convento Cultural Space in Viver Hosts El Mundo, an Exhibition by Young Artist Alicia Doñate
The El Convento Cultural Space in Viver is hosting El Mundo, an exhibition by young artist Alicia Doñate, until 20th July 2025. Originally from Soneja and a Fine Arts graduate from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Alicia offers visitors a unique glimpse into her creative world.
Doñate began her professional career in Bologna, Italy, where she has developed much of her artistic journey through exhibitions, residencies and projects in both Italy and Spain. Her work blends studio painting with mural art, reflecting an aesthetic identity that is constantly evolving.
The exhibition El Mundo offers a journey through the different stages of Doñate’s work and, beyond the paintings themselves, reveals the creative process behind them. Visitors will also find tools, personal objects, and mementos from the artist’s studio on display. All of this is accompanied by a specially composed soundtrack by Antonio Massarelli, which connects sound with the artist’s visual universe.
An intimate and contemporary proposal that invites the viewer to step into Alicia Doñate’s imaginative world, where technique, thought and memory come together.
