On 12 August 2026, Viver will have the opportunity to witness an extraordinary event: a total solar eclipse.
If you are still deciding where to watch the eclipse, we recommend two exceptional viewing locations in our municipality: San Roque Hill, accessible on foot, and Ragudo Windmills Hill, which can be reached by car.
In addition, on 3 August, we invite you to take part in the "Touching the Sky from Alto Palancia" astrotourism experience. The programme includes an informative talk about the eclipse, solar observation during the day, and an evening stargazing session with professional telescopes at Peñas Rubias.
It will be a wonderful opportunity to prepare for this unique astronomical event while enjoying one of the finest night skies in the Alto Palancia region.
