Masías del Cristo (Christ Farmhouses)

 A neighbourhood full of stories

This picturesque group of houses, known today as Masía del Cristo, has become a meeting point thanks to the emblematic Bar-Restaurant El Cristo, located on the other side of the national road.

 

Curiously, the Masía del Povo is mentioned on old maps, although no current resident remembers its exact location. What does survive is the Cristo Spring (N39.93343 W0.61129), whose waters spring up under the houses and feed the Fuente del Cristo, located in front of the bar.
