Saint Roque is celebrated on the night of 15th to 16th August, with a large open-air dance and people often staying up all night. At seven in the morning on the 16th, in the church square, canes and handkerchiefs are handed out and people make a pilgrimage to the saint's chapel, where a mass is held in his honour. At the end, a blessed roll is distributed. The penultimate week of August is the first week of the bullfighting season.

The patron saint festivities are held between September and October in honour of Saint Michael the Archangel and Our Lady of Grace. On 29 and 30 September in Viver and on 1 October in Ragudo, religious ceremonies are held in honour of these saints. From that day onwards, the second week of bullfighting begins, with bulls being led through the streets of the town and cattle shows.

It is celebrated on the Saturday and Sunday following 17 January. On Saturday morning, a mass is held in honour of Saint Anthony, animals are blessed in the Plaza Mayor and a roll of Saint Anthony is distributed to all those attending. In the afternoon, horse races are held in the Floresta Natural Park and in the evening there is a Toro ‘Embolao’ (bull run) and a street party. On Sunday afternoon, traditional games are held in the Plaza de la Constitución.

It is celebrated during the last week of February. Everyone dresses up in costumes and parades through the streets of the town, followed by dancing to live music.
