These are the most emblematic festivities in the municipality. They take place on the Friday and Sunday of the second week of Easter, when the bonfire of the saint is lit, masses are held and processions are held in honour of Saint Francis, and the traditional Arroz del Santo (Saint's Rice) is distributed, blessed by the village priest. This rice has been distributed for four hundred years, since the monks of the convent of San Francisco de Paula celebrated these festivities. In addition to religious events, there are large open-air dances and numerous activities for children.
